There are basically 3 types of Commercial air cleaners being used in the industry today :

1. Ionizing Purifiers :In this type of Air Cleaner ions are created by the process of corona discharge. Large particle in air like containments and dust gets ionize more easily. Thus is electro statically attracted towards the charged plates. Releasing out clean air.

2. Ozone Generators : In this type of Air cleaner, Ozone molecules are formed by atmospheric Oxygen molecule. Manufactures claim that Ozone disinfect the air and is good for health. but there is another side, ozone is considered as a toxic gas and easily oxidizes anything it comes in contact with.
